New Yurt Marquee Canvas for 2024 Weddings!
We have some very exciting news for our 2024 wedding couples: we will have a new canvas on our yurt marquee for the 2024 wedding season!
We are incredibly excited to have taken delivery of the canvas that we need to make a new canvas for our wonderful yurt marquee, a key part of our weddings here at Bennetts Willow Barn, Worcester. We will be cutting, sewing and waterproofing the new canvas over January and February, and have a big open day planned for Sunday 28th April 2024 to celebrate its launch. So please put this date in your diary as it will be an opportunity for you to see the new canvas in a full wedding setting.
The new canvas will be slightly different to the existing one as it will be a rustic green colour, the kind of colour you might associate with wedding tipis. The colour will allow our yurt marquee to deal with wet weather better and for it to blend in more with our beautiful woodland setting.
The decor
The bunting, chandeliers & fairy lights will be staying, so the feel inside the yurt marquee will be excatly the same as it has always been. But the canvas will be shiny and new for 2024 and we are confident that it will cope much better with the cooler, damper weather over winter next year, so with a wash and a reproof in early 2025 it will be stunning for the 2025 and 2026 wedding seasons and beyond!
