An absolutely EPIC festival wedding!

If you are looking for festival wedding inspiration then read on … this real wedding here at Bennetts Willow Barn, Worcestershire, absolutely smashed our expectations and is one that we will always remember. It was a fun-filled glamping spectacular and we loved every minute!

As a wedding venue, we are usually the first booking a couple will make on their wedding planning journey – we often work with couples for a couple of years from booking to the big day. But Emily & Sajid’s wedding was 3 years in the making, thanks to covid postponements. So we worked with this pair for longer than most, and with each emailed plan, our expectations for their big day grew. And they did not disappoint.

Focus on fun

Fun really was at the centre of this epic festival themed wedding. From lawn games (including limbo!) to wedding bingo, played around the around the laid back service of street food in our yurt marquee, Emily and Sajid showed that saying “no” to the traditional, formal wedding and instead focusing on what makes you as a couple happy is definitely the way to go. And this is definitely the kind of wedding we love most here at Bennetts Willow Barn! It’s your wedding, so throw the party you want, without feeling obliged to follow certain traditional rules, if thast is not what you want to do as a couple.

It was yet another heatwave during the hot summer of 2022, but guests made the most of our garden area outside the yurt marquee, starting with the service of ice cold Pimms and a beer barrow following the celebrant led ceremony in our rustic barn.

Glamping on our farm

Emily & Sajid booked the yurts adjoining our gardens at Worcester Glamping – what festival wedding is complete without glamping accommodation at the wedding venue? We love the morning after a wedding when the guests have glamped – everyone gets to catch up on the night before and it really is a lovely way to end your celebrations.

This wedding was full of detailed special touches to make the day memorable to guests. We loved the festival inspired passes that were made for everyone.

Of course Bennetts Ice Cream (made right here on our farm) was served as dessert to all the guests in our garden as the sun set on another hot day. You can’t have a glamping wedding on a farm without ice cream, can you?
